You’ve heard of tornadoes on the news—but did you know you can make one right at home using just a few simple items? Let’s build your very own spinning vortex! 🌀
🔧 Materials:
2 clear plastic bottles
Water
Duct tape
(Optional) Glitter or dish soap for cool effects ✨🫧
🧪 Steps:
Fill one bottle almost to the top with water.
Add a pinch of glitter or a few drops of soap.
Place the second bottle upside down on top, like an hourglass.
Seal the connection tightly with duct tape.
Flip and swirl the bottles in a circle!
Now, watch closely — a mini tornado appears inside! 🎩🌀 This swirl is called a vortex, just like in real tornadoes when warm and cold air mix in the sky.
