Bengaluru, May 1, 2025 — Karnataka has once again proven its academic strength with a remarkable 99.70% pass rate in the ICSE Class 10 examinations, surpassing the national average of 99.09%. Of the 29,745 students who appeared from the state, girls outshone boys, achieving a pass percentage of 99.82% compared to the boys’ 99.58%.

ST Candidates: 99.37%
OBC Candidates: 99.56%

🎓 Pragati Girish Athreya, Greenwood High School – 99.80%
An academic star and a pianist with a Grade 3 distinction, Pragati balanced rigorous preparation with her love for ballet, drawing, and music. She credits her success to consistent practice, guidance from teachers, and emotional support from her family and friends.
“Whenever I felt overwhelmed, I turned to my piano and ballet routines to calm my nerves,” she shared.

Beating her own expectations, Ridhima’s disciplined 6–8 hour study routine was balanced with her passion for Kathak dance, which served as a stress reliever. Aiming for JEE and a career in computer science, she emphasized early preparation:
